About Us

UCC Equestrian Club is dedicated to all things equestrian and aims to promote and establish a network in UCC for all equestrian and riding enthusiasts.

We compete in Tetrathlon every year, which compromises of running, swimming, shooting, and riding and train for this in the first semester. We also take part in Intervarsities in the second semester, where members choose to compete in show jumping, dressage or prix caprilli.  We have expanded our competitive ability and sent two teams to compete in the polocrosse intervarsity cup where we came away with the first and third place medals on the day before Covid 19 lockdown.

We do also like to have a bit of fun and organise various activities during the year such as pony club games, club social nights and trips to encourage everyone to get to know each other and hopefully make lifelong friends. We are proud to say that we have a great bond in the group, and we love welcoming new members to the team! So do not be shy - whether you are a happy hacker or a pro, everyone is welcome to join the club.
